I finally downloaded Siv's video, because it takes me an hour to do that, okay? How OSSUME is Siv? And how AWSSLUM was Gadget's video?
Closer to home of the people I actually know- I had a lotta funn at Trysty's HOUSE PARTY last night. I dunno if it strictly constitutes a house party... I mean, how do you tell the difference between a "house party" and a party that just happens to be in a house? Can you use an apartment or open field for a house party?
It was a real wham-bam-party-see-you-ma'am. Drove up at 9pm, traffic (DC area is just ungodly, ack), got there at 11:15, bourbon (Evan Williams, which in a funny turn of play was almost exactly like a person's name there) and ineffectual calls to NoControl (I knew ya were buzy) and DragonflyCQ (guess I didn't know), talked to a lotta cool folks whose name I couldn't even remember sober (the dude who was stationed in al-Manamah, Bahrain, doing counter-terrorism, in 2001; the nice Tryst-lady-coworkers; all the housemates were golden to me; the peculiar Tryst-friends who showed up drunk at the porch; the hydraulic repairman from NC), and drove back home after 3 a.m. Let the cat out at passed out at 6 a.m. So that's... two 4 a.m. intercity drives in three Saturdays. My only regret is that I didn't make the trifecta to the Big unfound - Antimony - Isadora Hangout last week. Those two are the Best SG Duwo Evar, and when you consider some of the competition (Clover n Gadget, Siv n Bailey, Stormy n Shera*), well! I can't even imagine what happens when you add FENCHURCH into the orgy of mayhem; probably a riot of violence**.
I just went to see Kicking & Screaming. It's okay; wait for the video or cable. Fun, but not funn... you know.
* I realize I am leaving out poor Sicily. I don't mean to break apart the Piss Sluts, but that would be a Best Treeo, not a Duwo.
** Maybe even a Best Treeo Evar award??
