I just wanted to assure everyone that the rumors you've heard about casting for the upcoming Dukes of Hazzard movie are true.
I am playing Luke Duke.
WhiskeyFightPit is Bo Duke.
clovesbud plays Uncle Jesse, a role vacated by Franchise stemming from schedule conflicts with the shooting of Gladiator 2: Mediterranean Boogaloo
Clara is cousin Daisy (the producers were impressed by her already-voluminous drawer of denim cutoff short-shorts).
In an interesting twist on the original show, Boss Hogg is being played by braveliltoaster and Roscoe P. Coltrane by miss_lady. Producers want to remain faithful to the series but also want to skew the project's target audience to the eccentric-hipster-young-women-in-Florida demographic.
Negotiations continue to fulfill BrookeLynne's contract for the role of cousin Enos (in an effort to secure the Maine-poetry demographic), but talks have likely failed in securing coldenginelogic to fill the role of Huey Hogg, due to creative differences and catering service issues. (The role was previously taken away from up-and-comers thefuckingdaddy and later Kurtz due to continuing legal troubles with controlled substances and DUI violations.)
