When I signed up for the UW Embedded Controller Certificate program I thought that it was a psychology course focused on co-dependent relationships. Not fully aware, I joked that it might be about bed-ridden abusive people (i.e. spouses, grandparents, etc.). I would never have imagined that it was a course with the sole purpose of instructing us on how to develop an operating system and write software for a microprocessor.
In all seriousness, the class lays out an impressive claim and I'm really looking forward to completing the three course certificate. The office is even refunding me at the end of every quarter I successfully complete. However, having attended two classes now, I'm not really pleased with how this quarter's course is heading. The level of instruction involves a regurgitation of the slides. We are not given a greater context when presented with granular information about particular components or methodologies. It's like a shotgun blast - having to examine various shot groups over a very wide range. I feel like we're already collectively struggling, in silence, as a class.

yeah, my phonecam doesn't focus at all. i'm too lazy to check out a camera at the school, and too poor to buy a good digicam. maybe i'll start checking out the digicams at the school, so i can take more artistic pictures. thanks for the opinion.
