Humans are social animals. I mean that it is probably impossible to make it through life without having anything to do with anyone. Most people feel "safer" when they belong to a group, whether it is a political group, a football team fanclub, a tennis club, a gang, etc etc etc. You can even see that in small communities like this one (SG). There are so many different "groups" in here. Some of them are even "private" which means that you actually need special permission in order to be accepted in them. I guess the world is always going to be like that and I have no idea if that is right or wrong. We are all so different from each other...sometimes I wonder how we all manage to communicate with each other. Sometimes we can't even communicate with our own selves. Then again we are all so much alike...
So, why does it bug you if you finally decide not to be in a certain "group" such as "straight edge" or "pacifist" or "drug addict" or "vegan" or "whatever"...when you have the ability to take all the little things you like from each group and put them into your everyday life...Plus, I am sure that you can communicate with all kinds of people from all kinds of groups as long as you (and them) want to without having to be a "member" of that certain group...I don't think that you would want to hang out with someone who thinks poorly of you and your theories anyhow...I think that I am telling you things that you already know lovely Brinny

I was still writting my previous post before Hello Sushi posted her's but I think that we share the same theories on this matter (or my English really sucks )

I know I don't always make sense. I was talking about these 3 photos. I like them a lot because they look like stills from a film. So I feel that it's a shame they were not shot with film....but....if they were shot with film they wouldn't look as real and spontaneous as they do now (especially the last one) I suppose...OH Don't listen to me! I am always so concerned about the details and I end up missing the point. ... ...

I'm on a bad luck bright eyes streak.

I only saw the last 20 minutes of their show at the paramount in austin. I was in Austin the night their played austin city limits and had a chance for free and I lost the fuckin dudes number.
I missed the airing of the show because....well i dont have tv. And to top it off, their next show in Austin is on a fuckin TUESDAY and i have to work weekdays.

On the bright side. My friend taped it for me. (Ihaven't watched it yet cause he's out of town)
And i got their new albums in the mail this previous tuesday.

But surely Ellie is still loveable and adorable, no matter how psychotic she has become, no? I know what you mean about being able to wear skirts in the summer. The main thing that I don't like about summer is that you can't really escape the heat without resorting to grossness like air conditioning, but with winter you can warm up by wearing fun, furry coats and leg warmers. I love tights, too, but nothing beats a thick, warm pair of hiking socks. I wear hiking socks to bed EVERY night. I give myself a french manicure once a week. Sometimes I go for the fluorescent colors, too, though. My toenails are usually bright orange. There are 3 blankets on my bed right now; this bizarre velour seafoam green blanket, a matching blue one, and a patchwork quilt that my aunt made me as my graduation present. I wish that I was as depthful and awesome as you, but my favorite superhero is Wolverine. My favorite celebrity is Adam Brody, HANDS DOWN. The worst day of my entire life was when the only guy I've ever really loved left to fight in Iraq. I don't know if it bothers you to hear this, but I'm sorry about your mom. When did she die, if you don't mind me asking?

You say people came and took the pollen from it, that is pretty wild ... I mess around with some stuff similar to that ... Also interesting that Megz mentioned that the leaves are poisonous .. look out!!
