I've always been a closet-member of the undead. It's refreshing and liberating to let my inhibitions slip and reveal my true self to the SG world!

Pumping up is a great way to let the goat run.
and i come home in the begining of the wee hours of rhe morning and see a movie called el diablo on cable. this sends me back to a time when we went to that italian place on 87th st where i got the gnocci with the diablo sauce and she wore the short skirt with the garters and no panties cause it was my...

You know me so well... I did do that little head tilt the RCA dog does.
I thought it was an eBay auction at first, and I couldn't figure out why you'd drive almost nine hours round-trip on one of the most boring highways in America instead of paying for shipping. Then I realized you're unemployed and have nothing but time and chalked it up to "A Weird Justin Escapade".
I drove to St. Louis for Fourth of July on a whim back in 1996. (That was the trip that caused me to break down in Hammond. I think I told you the story of getting stuck at the Shell on Indianapolis Ave for eight hours).
Have fun!

I know it's a ripoff. I just haven't had time to do the research into other things yet.
enjoying a little ganga while the controlled maddness that is dizzy gillespie washes over me. two cats chasing each other from one side of the apartment to the other sounding like galloping horses.

True, you don't fit the stereotypical yuppie definition of "accomplishment", but you fit mine, and mine is all that counts.
Sorcha's Definition of Accomplishment:
When you complete something you set out to do and better yourself in the process; therefore, visiting museums and art galleries, reading good books, researching ways to continue your education, watching programs you wouldn't normally have time to view, and taking an occasional road trip are all accomplishments.
You are still growing, intellectually, instead of letting yourself waste away in front of the television sixteen hours per day. Were you to do that during the entirety of your lay-off, I'd have to bitchslap you with an entire roll of Turkish Delight.
And you know I would.

.....driving at night alone trips me out, i love it and fear it and the same time.....the places ones mind can go, clothed in darkness, the road is yours.........your music broadcast thing sounds just perfect, if you;ve got music what more do you need, measure the time in albums, thats what i love to do....and smoke lots of cigarettes and watch the smoke make patterns in the air.....
hope it goes well

I prefer to drive at night. I've always been that way. Speaking of driving, as you drove away, I realized I hadn't told you how to get to I-94 from my place. I figured you'd mapped it, though, since you didn't ask. I tried calling your phone, but yeah...
Anyway, that last Google thing was that mystery ingredient in Turkish Delight.
It's mastic.
'The aromatic resin of the mastic tree, used especially in varnishes, lacquers, adhesives, and condiments and as an astringent.'
Mmm... varnish...

Get some sleep, and buy some damn curtains already.
I know the timing will be odd, which is why I told you call me from Grand Rapids. That will give me time to wake up, get home from wherever I am, wipe the coke off the countertops, or whatever. Grand Rapids is 45-60 minutes from my front porch.

Ha. I know that feeling. I zip around like a cat when I'm book or CD shop-... Wait. You've seen me. Never mind.
Goodnight.

i figured that even a not so flattering recent picture is better than a picture of a devil from a booze shaker box. i don't know why i think this. ah well best not think too deeply on these things.

so i have just returned from a trip to the great white north. good times, it was in the motherfucking fifties when i was there. unfortunately it was in the twenties at night so my winter camping experience was a bit of a cold one. i think that i overestimated my fifteen year old sleeping bags ability to insulate. but it wasn't all that bad....

i had a very interesting experience last night. i mwt with the commitee that is planning our ten year highschool reunion. that in and of itself is a little weird, a decade since high school, blah blah blah.

Oh, this is cute. Gomez is sleeping on my suitcase. I didn't take it with me and ended up leaving it on my bed. I guess, now that I'm home, he wants to ensure I don't leave again. Such a sweetie.
He's getting all sorts of cuddles tonight.
ladymaze:
Thanks.

Forgot this in the email: Give me a call whenever your tsunami thing finishes. I have no idea what time K and Ophelia are planning dinner.
_sarah_:
No problem. I'm leaving in a couple of hours, so phone is better than email/SG. Besides, I never really check stuff while at K's.
If, for some strange reason, you finish early tonight, they aren't starting the movie until 1:30 AM. I hope I can stay awake.
