Nice CV. I'm busy trying to write an essay on why tim burton is or isn't an auteur, plenty of excuses to get out the ole batman films (Michelle pfiefer mmmmm) and edward scicssorhands tonight.

Why didn't you like charlie and the choc factory? i absolutely loved it so many clever little intertextual references in there

i just saw sin city about a month ago on the big screen at the brew and view. (mid sized concert venue that runs movies and serves booze on nights when there are no shows) it was tooooo goood. i am so glad that i got to see it on the scale that i did. and the half in the bag crowd made it really enjoyable.

It's been so long, monsieur Jub Jub. I am fucking tired right now, too busy and backwarsd in the head to keep up with the site. Four chicks a day? Too much. Takes away the suspense. Hope you are well. kiss

.....well the 37th INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL has started in the big smoke....and WOW, what a weekend a quality cinema it has been.....

...all started with The Edukators in the comfort and mind-blowing enclosure of the Civic theatre, it really was beautiful and the film was excellent; jeff buckley performing HALLELUJAH towards the resolution took my breath away, very funny dialogue too..heh

Blood suckers hide beneath my bed
And black fumes of skin so gently bled
I slept with a cat on my breast
Slowing my heart stealing my breath

At sunrise the monkeys will fly
And leave me with pennies in my eyes

THANX man!! i really enjoyed writing it and its soooo nice to get positive feedback - as a freelancer you don't tend to get too much feedback at all...

coolio - i'll be at the gig 4sure - lettme know where the venue is when its confirmed (i'm thinking it'll be at Edens Bar?) and we'll shoot the shit.
dangerobby:
The music down here is lacking, chief. Uni holidays and all - nothing happening in the bars. I expect that to change next week with ReOrientation.

As to things growing in the cold - my understanding is that that is all good, and not affected badly by students leaving. Probably just the opposite.

i like to refer to it as dissapointingly good.

I hear ya when it comes to loving airports. I used to go out to Auckland airport every few weeks and just sit there watching. I love the vibe, the excitement and adventure.

I'm thinking of moving to Queenstown next year. I need some excitement in my life heh.

When are you up in Auckland next?

that sounds like an absolutely perfect way to spend a birthday. brilliant. i cannot count how many times i came down from lsd listening to a five disc filled with the beatles watching the sun come up. its been too long since it happened. i never did have the good sense to take pictures when i was tripping, either. i don't know you or any of the people in those pics, but seeing them brought back some memories. if thats possible. ahhhhh....hallucinogens. confused whatever shocked tongue biggrin
