Saw Billy Talent again last night. Very good show. I talked to the drummer and bassist for a bit and got pretty trashed. More than I wanted. Ended up sleeping with this girl that just moved in next to me. Woke up and realized that I shouldnt have done that. At least I wasnt gone enough to not use a condom.

What else....um, I forget. Oh yeah, I saw Narc, a movie about drug dealing, that was good too but the end SUCKED.

It's a bit weird with me because I sort of have two groups of friends who I go drinking with - one bunch are metalheads, Sepultura T-shirts, tattoos, dyed hair etc while the others are straights - designer gear, cropped hair etc. I happen to be a bloke who likes to look smart but also likes loud music with guitars - if I believed everything I read in crappy style mags, I'd probably think I was the biggest walking contradiction on the planet. As it happens, I just think "fuck it, that's what I am and if people have a problem with it, that's their problem". Yeah, I know the feeling. My "friend" Jeff at work is engaged to be married in February. It's very odd. He's only a little less than a month older than I am. The higher ranking officers have no excuse for berating people who want to leave after they've served their time and want to go home. If they get all aggro about it, that just makes a soldier less likely to come back.
