Oh! Great costume! Couldn't see it until I copied the urls and fixed it so folks could see the pics. My band, Carpe Noctem, and I were dressed as glowing Vampires. We had this luminescent face stuff on like the liquid in glowsticks and red glowdrops in our eyes while we played a Hallowe'en party for about 150 people at the University of Florida in Gainesville. 7 1/2 hour show. Lots of loud weird noises. The fraternity hosting the party apparently had come upon a supply of fungal matter for their amusement so they really liked our weirdness. We did all of Rocky Horror among uther stuff. They paid us a grand (that was the agreed upon price - twice what we usually get) and want us for New Year's Eve for $2,000. Plus, food and drinks are plentiful and free.

But alas, I tore my epiglottis singing and sprained my wrist so no singing or guitaring for a while. Well, maybe slide guitar. And I can fuck with the keyboard but I like strings.

I went out to luckys tonight to see Darryl play. Doublewide is the name of the band and they are amazing. It was a great show and I am really glad I went. My ass is sore. Just rode 5 hours on a bike to Atlanta for a concert. Having some Jamaican coffee and checking out the web at a cafe here in unfamiliar Atlanta awaiting the sound of a few more Harleys to meet me here so I can follow them to the show.
