got offered to possibly join a band already sign to a major label. My band is doing pretty good but sometime the guys don't seem into it as much as me. don't know what to do.................................Loyalty vs following a dream, not an easy one. Help

This might sound retarted, and it will still need to be handled with delicate gloves, but I think you should talk with your band mates. Explain the situation you're in and ask their advice. Yeah, you'll probably get a lot of resentment or 'do what you want man' but that's when you should look between the lines. See you should be able to tell from their reaction what their level of commitment to the band it (as well as just asking them that question).
Oh Satan, I'm happy you got this opportunity, even if you don't take it. Read from Kahlil and ask a million and one questions about the new band. How much creative control will you have? Who is the front runner of the (maybe new) band now?
Everything happens for a reason, and sometimes they are even good ones!
