What a grand fucking weekend!!! I went out with friends to the valley (where else is there to go?) on Saturday night and got loaded and had a totally mind blowing experience 
with some totally gorgeous beautiful people... I like people that like to share... if everyone shared and loved then I think the world would be a much happier place. Sorry I didn't reply to your text Rocketeer, I didn't have my phone with me... I would have loved to have seen you that night

On Friday at work I received a letter from the head librarian that told me I am to receive the Library's Staff Excellence Award!!! I get a lapel pin that apparently says 'I am special' ha ha ha what a cak. Plus I get a framed certificate certifying my excellence. I can't believe I'm getting it. It was totally totally unexpected. It's nice to know my work is appreciated....
I've been working on my zine some more and I really don't have long to go now - 15 pages. I'm interviewing The Disables tonight. I love those guys they write kick arse tunes and are super beautiful people too.
I heard an awesome rumor that Social Distortion is coming out in August!!! My fingers, toes and everything is crossed. After Common Rider on the top of my wish list for seeing live is Social D... I hope it happens. I also heard the rumor of HorrorPops from a very reliable source also and Suicide Machines at the end of the year.... if all the above is true Bianca will be a mega happy girl 3 of her fav bands ever!!!
I am pretty happy right now though, after my weekend I think I'll have a smile on my face for some time.... don't you love when everything in the universe is so in sync and the planets are aligned (don't hold me to that) and everything is going well.... oh yeah I didn't get my other job I went for but, I'm so happy I don't fuckin' care. Obviously I'm not met to work there and the universe has other plans for this cookie....
