I am loving the hooping, but it doesn't love me. Woke up this morning with a HUGE bruise on my wrist, and the way it is shaped, you can rest your fingers perfectly on it, totally looks like someone's been grabbing my wrists. Wah. I told Ryan that my hoop bruise looks like he beats me and his response was, "because I do beat you, now go get me a diet Mt. Dew, woman." Such a comedian that guy.
I'm getting much better though and it's only been one day! I learned a new starting trick, and I worked on my shimmy from waist to shoulders a bit more so I can hoop around my neck. Still getting the hang of chest hooping but each time I practice I get better
I think I will be waking up tomorrow with a bruised shoulder though. No worries, it makes me feel alive.
Okay, so one of the laziest and tastiest meals you can make, we shall call it Fiesta Bowls:
make a cup of rice in a sauce pan (bowl 2 cups water, add one cup of rice, cover, lower heat and have simmer for 20 minutes)
once rice is ready, mix in salsa. I add enough so that I know I'll be getting the good flavors in each bite.
mix in a drained can of corn, a can of diced black olives and some shredded cheese.
that's it. you can add some more stuff if you'd like, maybe some chick peas, beans or sour cream? If you have more time you can add some taco meat. Either way, you win. Makes about 4 servings.

I have no lazy meals...just anything the fridge that hasn't turned green or has an inordinate amount of hair on it
Good for you with the hooping!!! Video at some point? Pictures?
I'm trying a new marinade on some beef strips tonight. It's olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and worcestershire sauce with some minced garlic. I intend to serve it with spaetzle tomorrow.
