I went wigless and lipstickless today:
It's a big day for me when I make that choice. Every few months I lose my hair and shave my head to treat my skin condition. A wig has been my head's best friend for, ah geez, like two years now. I like my bald head, and feel that I can rock any hair style I want. I have a very nicely shaped head. I just can't stand those people who come up to me and tell me they will pray for me to get better assuming I'm a cancer patient. That's really annoying. I'm always polite though and explain the situation. I hate that part too though, they feel foolish for assuming I was a cancer patient and then I feel un needed guilt for their foolish feelings. It's all really dumb. I shouldn't feel guilty for their foolish assumptions, and I know that, but that's not who I am. BUT you know what they say about assume- it makes an ass out of u and me. My mom always said that when I was growing up. Going out with no lipstick was odd for just me though lol. I almost always wear some bright or bold color. My favorites are shades of reds, not pinks. Pink is not for my lips. I can wear pink eyeshadow, but not lipstick.
My hubs saw The Kills last night. He said they were amazing, as I am sooooo sure they were. I totally have a thing for the singer. She's great musically, physically and she's smart. She would be my celeb fling. Hahaha I know full well such a thing would never happen though, so I don't have my heart set lol. My hubby comes home tomorrow
I can't wait to see him when I get home.
I am hosting a MARK cosmetic party tomorrow. I'm hoping to make a good sum of money to pay for the damages I did during my manic episode. I have NO idea how many people will come, but it was solicited to over 250 different people and to various places as well. So keep your fingers crossed for me please. I really need it.
Today I bought a brand new mannequin on a stand from e bay for 35.00 with free shipping. Good freaking deal. I need it to display my items for my new Etsy shop. I have discovered that I am incredibly talented at sewing and jewelry making. So I have been sewing up a storm. I make various styles of aprons, shirts, skirts, dresses, and bags. Tonight I am going to start to make my first corset. That should be fun.
I am recovering very well from my surgery and the complication that I had from it. I am entering into my 7th week of recovery. On the 14th it will be two months since surgery. I look good. I am VERY pleased with the results, and in case you're wondering I'm stilll a good size. I personally think that any size is a good size it just depends on the body they are on. I am at C cup now from a DDD. I have continued to lose weight and am 7 pounds away from my final goal. I was just given permission this week to go back to full exercise and activity, so I'm looking forward to the exercise part. Shhhhh don't tell, but I've already resumed normal activity a long time ago, I mean hello I'm a full time mom, how could I not? The exercise will be great though! It will help tone me up and get me past this plateau I'm on with my weight. Now I just need to make time to do it all in the busy days I already have. I'll get it worked in there though, it's important to me. Well, I'm going to go.....I've just written you a novel of a blog lol. Hope you are all well!
