In fact! Tonight I was talking to one of the guys who works with me. He does the final preperations on the water tanks that we sell to the RV industry. He lives in Ensinada. The home of the Baja 1000. He was saying how that we're all goin down there for the Baja 500 in june. I was thinking tonight that it would totally rock some serious donkey balls if I helped my friend get his truck together. He is building a desert truck similar to the stadium trucks of the 80s like what Ivan Stewart raced. I've been thinking for some time how I'd love to build a truck that uses modern day suspension technology like what is used in indy cars in an off road truck. Cause, if you look at the suspension on a desert racing truck, they're way the fuck back where off road motorcycles were in the early 70s. A few ays ago I went and saw From Dust to Glory (GO SEE IT RIGHT FUCKING NOW!) and wathced the trophy trucks go around corners backing off the throttle WAYY early an imagined what a truck with proper anti-roll would do. And I bet that a properly designed suspension system would give a truck a good half hour advantage.
For sure, what I'm planning with Aarons truck would revolutionize the off road truck industry. Even if we come in last, we'd get an awful lot of press just showing up with a truck with perperly designed suspension. For sure the thing would make waves. Maybe enough to get a few customers that would want us to build them a truck. It might just start a whole business. I've always wanted to build racing vehicles and maybe if that does turn out right we might be able to.
