Dude, drivin home last night that fog was THICK!
I don't think I ever drove in fog that thick before.
That was cool as hell.
It's like youre just out in free 3d space, just cruuuuuuuuuisin.
I thought it was thick right when I hit it.
I couldn't see the semi truck in front of me. And you know how tight I keep the draft especially behind semis cause you get about 8 times the gas milage.
But then it got REAL thick.
It was so thick that I couldnt see the street lights above the freeway.
It was just total black.
Just me chillin in the middle of 3d space.
I wish I had a radar on my truck so I could go blazin as fast as I can through it and still see cars n motorcycles
That'd be cool as hell.
In newport, cause it's so big right there by where we were, whenever the fog got to be really thick everyone would take their powerboats out.
Cause the water is always so still when its foggy.
Boats go fastest in still water because the smooth laminar water has less drag on the hull since there is less water that actually touches the hull since it's not spinnin around.
When the water is turblent, the boat actually touches the water that is from the surface down to a few inches below the surface.
When it's smooth it only touches the imidiate surface.
In Newport Harbor you can't go faster than 4 knots which is just under 5mph.
It's so you dont kick up a big wake (wave) behind he boat that moves all the boats waking up all the lpeople who live aboard their boat and are trying to sleep.
The same holds true in almost every marina.
So if anyone goes over 5mph harbor patrol is right there with their lil gun just waiting to say "OO gotcha!" to all the newport dudes who have tons n tons of money and will just say "damn it! he got me!" and send the money right in to them.
Which, I mean, thats kindo cool when you compare it to highway patrol doing something like that to some 30 year old seceratary on her way to work when you consider that the fine for speeding in the harbor is like $40 er something and the fine for speeding on the freeway is double that, which is still within reason, but after you factor in all the failure to appear charges from when she forgot to go and restitution fees and if god forbid that she didn't have insurance she's lookin at over a grand just for going to work a lil bit faster than everyone else.
For someone who makes like $40k a year thats a fairly big portion of their entire lifestyle.
Where, $40 for a guy who makes half a million a year, that's a different story
Besides hes just out messin around on the weekend in his boat, hes not some secretary goin to work tryin to feed her 3 kids.
But anyway, so every time theres a foggy night in newport (which is fairly often) you can hear all these semi rigid inflatable dingys blastin through the open area there cause harbor patrol can't see them so they cant ticket them.
That's how I feel when I'm driving in thick fog.
I just feel like I'm by myself and I can do whatever I want.
That the only laws governing what I do are the laws of physics and practical human behavior.
That's how it should be.
That's true freedom.

my comp sucks it wont lte me go into SG chat and when it finally does for me to type a sentance in 5 seconds... it appears like 10mins later... kind of like someone who doesnt know how to type so they peck at the keyboard trying to find the keys LOL... I know what my problem is but it would cost me more then what the comp is worth to get more ram
