Kick ass night at D-land tonight. Saw Suburban Legends play. They're always killer to see and seeing them play at Disneyland just made it even more awesome.

We made some kick ass runs on the T-Cups. The first one my 18 year old niece Jonvieve went on with us. She pulled really good. Had excellent technique. She's learning a lot on how to pull. I was sooooo proud! biggrin biggrin biggrin

The second run was made with just me and my younger (24 year old) brother Chris, er Chef is his nickname (not here though, he doesn't have an SG account). It was pretty darn fast, maybe a seven five. The operator said we were the fastest he's ever seen. That wasn't unusual, everyone always says that. But what was unusual is he gave us a gift for going so fast. He said we won the prize. He gave us a doggie bowl with Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas on it. It was probably left in a cup from someone else, but we accepted it anyway. We're always a lil dazed after making a run and usually just kindo go along with whatever people say haha.

Each time tonight, as well as on Friday, the crowd watching us all applauded us as we were getting out. That actually never used to happen all that often. I've probably ridden the cups an estimated 1200 times over the years and of those, maybe 15 times has the crowd given us applause. These past few times bumps that up to something like 18.

Our lil successes here lately are getting me all pumped back on the cups. I need to start working out more. I think I'll disconnect the power steering pump in my truck. I did that on my car back years ago when we was way into the cups and it worked really good to help train my arms.
biggrin

I miss Disneyland. I went there every Friday night in my 15th year.
