In the course of a few days I've gone from putting in sixteen plus hours per day six days a week to barely making eight hours per day.
Night before last much drinking was had and yesterday I woke up hurting ALL day. I just flat didn't have enough water in my blood to handle the amount of liquor I consumed. I drank the good stuff, but even very expensive, extremely filtered, and highly refined poisonous chemicals can make you feel bad later on if you drink enough of it to kill more cells in your body faster than you are capable of peeing them out. Remember kids, Drinking lots of water before consuming alcohol will always keep you from being hung over the next day. About a year er two ago, I used to drink about half of a half gallon bottle of vodka mixed per night. For comparison, the mid sized bottle of absolut is 750ml, and I'd drink one and a third of those per night. Only two or three times did I ever get hung over because I would always make sure I drank at least a gallon and a half of water the day before I drank. I would wake up and ride my bicycle to work 30 miles one way, work all day (drinking a shitload of water the whole day), ride the 30 miles back home, and as soon as I got home I'd pour a drink. Usually seventy five percent tropical punch Kool Aid and twenty five percent vodka. When I was riding occasionally I would get dizzy and disoriented, but I never crashed because of it, that I can remember. Also when I would lean down and look under things, especially when I would lean down and look between my legs I would get way dizzy and almost fall down. That was the only negative side effect I ever saw from drinking that heavy at the time. I'm rather positive I lost a tremendous amount of brain cells though because I can't seem to think of things as good as I used to. Also, I started drinking because when I would I would have to sleep around two to three hours less per night and I would go to sleep sooner. Which was a good thing because my boss didn't like me showing up at noon. But after a while I enjoyed being drunk so much that I would always stay up for one more drink, one more drink, one more drink, long after it got light when the sun was very up. So that kindo backfired and one day I just said "screw this, I'm not gonna drink anymore". I didn't have a drink of liquor at all for about 9 months. Then I figured it would be ok to have a beer er two and I've pretty much kept things in check since then.
I went to my friends birthday happinins and ate around $100 in fine fine Italian cuisine. Then I went to Mr. J's (strip club in Santa Ana, CA) and still wasn't feeling good from the hang over and ended up tossing all $100 worth of food up. I was like "god damn, what a waste." It tasted much much better when it hadn't been partially digested.
I got a new monitor though. I saw it at Frys a week er two ago and almost bought it for a lil over $500. This week it was $350. The big ol mac one looks a slight bit nicer, but not much at all. This one is only a 17" though, where the mac one is pretty damn big and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is still the absolute most beautiful thing I have ever seen for under $1500.
