so one of the perks of my job is that i can picture everybody i see dead. dead and lifeless and missed by their family. walking their dog in the park, eating outside at a restaurant, sitting on the stoop talking to friends; i can see them dead on a gurney. wearing nothing but a gown that snaps up the sides, sometimes bedsores, sometimes catheters, sometimess diapers. needlemarks, bruises, lividity. and it sucks after a day with a couple of donors, i really do look at other people and think it's a shame they don't have more time.
and no "i see dead people" jokes!

I once thought about taking up Forensic Psychology.. Haven't seen or read of anyone have a degree in Forensic Anthropology. That's rather interesting though, I'll have to read up on it and see what it's all about. =)

Maybe you can change the way you look at the live people. think of them still enjoying life, not contemplating death. I can see why working with dead people would be depressing tho.
