Today: 2*pi day.
(March 14th is pi day, on account of being 3.14. June 28t is thus 2*pi day.)
Celebration at Kristina's involved various games that estimated pi, and assorted foods that are round. (Pizza, cherries, PIstachios, etc.)
How to estimate Pi with a Pie:
Make a ring of chocolate chips around the the edge of the pie, and a line of chocolate chips across the center. Keep the chocolate chips as close together as possible - no spaces. Count the number of chocolate chips that make the line across the center. This is the diameter, D. Count the number of chips around the pie. This is the circumference, C.
C = D*pi
or:
pi = C/D

And then, last night I had this dream that I was taking Organic Chemistry and Chemistry and Biology as an undergrad and I was kicking everyone's asses.
Apparantly, in this dream, I was studying to be a Veterinarian. How cool would that be?
(Now, if I was decent with numbers, I might be more gung-ho about the whole thiing)
We must turn this into some kind of national holiday or something. That would be pretty awesome.
