
This was the game prototype, being cut out. This sheet's almost done: The laser finished its etching passes minutes before, and now it's on a slower cutting pass. Just one more tile to go.
The game had it's first playtest tonight, with two strangers from the Berkeley Boardgamers Meetup group. It played well, the few bugs found all had easy fixes, and the players wanted another crack at the game at next weeks meetup. It's better than I'd dared hope. A few more tests like that, and I'll start pricing out artists and printing costs, and seeing if a realistic business plan is possible.
