Here is this year's tattoo! The butterfly coming out of her cocoon represents the metamorphic qualities of Aquarians. As an Aquarius, I am always changing into a new person and morphing into a better me. I like to theme my SG shoots with my tattoos so I got this tattoo to go along with one of my new sets. More info about that soon!

It was her favorite.  At her funeral,  while sitting and reflecting at her casket at the grave, a small monarch butterfly no bigger than a half dollar landed on her casket. @bantherknox

A great blog post, and a great tattoo! Over the years, I've grown increasingly interested in Japanese culture, and just mere days ago, I made a serious decision to learn Japanese. And I do mean days ago, so I am a total newbie at this point, but I've been looking up tips and tricks that will help me learn Japanese at a solid pace and in a way that will much more beneficial in the long run rather than just the basic "learn how to say these phrases." I'm talking studying/leraning hiragana, katakana, kanji ... all of it, totally from scratch. It's kind of exciting.

Awesome!  Have you studied any other languages before?  For me, the hardest part about learning Japanese is the kanji.  Yes, the subject object verb sentence structure is very different from English’s subject verb object, but you get used to it.  Pronunciation is a breeze because it’s phonetic, like Spanish.  But visually, I can’t remember all the strokes for the kanji.  I know some of it but after a while, a lot of them start looking so similar 😞
