ETA: Pictures are up

I swear to The Powers That Be, the next person who tells me raising dogs is easy is going to get a knife in the face.

In the past 4 days, I've had 10 hours of sleep total, max. I'm surprised how well my body has adjusted to getting a two hour nap as our fuel, and being awake for like 20 hours at a time.

I am also very grateful for SciFi channel at the moment. Prophecy 3 is keeping me awake right now, and while it's not as good as Prophecy (really, what is?), it's doing the job.

It's taking between 30 minutes and an hour to hand feed the spawn. We're down to 13, though I expect it to be 12 in the next day or so. One of the runts stopped eating, and she's rejected him. I try to help him, but he thwarts my attempts. I expected this. The other runt and a male that was not right are gone. There's one female who is also not right, though she seems to be getting better. So we'll see.

Puppy cries are ingrained in my brain at the moment. Seriously, it's all I hear, even when I'm not near them. I went to class today and heard them crying. And the dreams, oh man. I wonder if I'll ever be normal again. Or, you know, as normal as I ever was. On the plus, I appear to be forming coherent sentences tonight, which is more than I can say for the past few days.

The only problem about being up at 3 am is that no one else is. It's kinda lonely. Last night Ferretbite kept me company, and tonight/this morning KorbenDallas is.
