Hmm. The "no actresses" rule has been in effect for me for years, but "no INDUSTRY" (emphasis mine)? That seems a bit unrealistic for L.A. - though it could be done, I suppose. I just wouldn't want to: I'm a hard enough guy to really know, and having something in common - like the industry - is, perhaps and sadly but truly, the primary, shared variable that gives us a fighting chance.

Anyway, you and I'll have to each do our thing our way, see how it goes for both of us, and make adjustments as needed.

Hey: any word on / from L.H.? She's been here long enough now that I imagine she's found her true worth and is dating further up the food chain than me, so I'm not holding my breathe to date her. Just curious how she's doing, honestly; she was a good egg and I wish her well.

I should maybe add that he's not fixated on the "wrong" reasons for success - he isn't simply a fame seeker per se by any means - and he happily pursues acting for the love of the craft. But he is having a very hard time of it right now and the interview reminded me of his first major career heartbreak, that's all.

Sorry, bro. What are the odds?!? I was on Match back in Atlanta and had a lot of fun, but tried it out here the first few months I was local and it didn't work for me. Your mileage may vary, but their "matches" for moi were WAY off.
