Over the past month I have developed a crush on a girl over the interweb. I even think Lenox knows her. Just a crush - I don't really get the opportunity to chat with her much, but when I have, she's been fun and funny and lovely. I found myself craving more time with her, but it is not to be.
She is leaving Wednesday for Phoenix to interview for Southwest Airlines - a job she will naturally get. Then she'll have to move there.
I'm not saying anything would have happened there between us - we really didn't get a chance to know each other very well - never even met. Who kinows if she would have even been interested. But it felt great to make a pretty girl laugh again - and to be entertained by her as well!
But it is definitely a crush. A crush on someone other than "her." So it can happen. That's a breakthrough.
I can have the opportunity to get devastated by another woman. Yay.

Hey: any word on / from L.H.? She's been here long enough now that I imagine she's found her true worth and is dating further up the food chain than me, so I'm not holding my breathe to date her. Just curious how she's doing, honestly; she was a good egg and I wish her well.
