Alternative adj.
Of or relating to behavior that is considered unconventional and often seen as a challenge to traditional norms.
Does alternative mean ugly? Because it seems that many people believe that you can't be both pretty and have tattoos and be 'alternative'. Are the people attracted to SG, and who join SG, becoming less 'alternative' and loving sets that feature non-alternative girls and consequently changing the image of SG? And if so, isn't it 'the customer is always right?' I don't know, I'm high and forgot where I was going with this.
The point is, a set went up today that I really like. And the amount of people tearing it down with comments like 'fat' or 'flat chested' bum me out. And so many people bitching about the fact that it's not 'SG' or 'alternative' anymore...I'm just wondering "WHAT IS ALTERNATIVE."
And as my person so nicely pointed out, "Everyone and their mother has a tattoo." ...So are tattoos really 'alternative' anymore anyways? Aren't we the norm?
