i just saw this movie, and although i jumped and squealed like a siss several times, the ending ruined the whole fucking film
whatever concerns the actress had about this film and the motives of the director were completely valid, and i think he violated her trust
skip the ending and watch passion of the christ to at least keep the gory/creepshow feeling going while getting the gist of the themes of "emily rose" anyway
/bitter i spent 8 bucks on another deistic piece of trash

In the movies Tilda Swinton comes off very angel-like and thats not a pun for Hellblazer fans. She seems very delicate with a strong touch of pathos though in person shes warm, sweet, very funny and all business. But I suppose when an actor has sheparded a passion project for five years like Swinton did with Thumbsucker you need to be that way sometimes.

I liked Good Will Hunting. But then I came across Gerry on IFC. I thought I was going to pull my hair out. It was the most boring film I have ever seen. There were long stretches where Matt Damon and Casey Affleck were just walking. And I mean they wouldn't even change angles, it was a master shot. I started counting the minutes when they would do long stretches like that. For one scene I got to 8 mins! Then the ending was so anticlimactic I was going to cry! Talk about a let down. I sit there for 100 some minutes for an ending I coulda wipped my ass with. I really don't know what he nor anyone involved was thinking when they made this... Sure the atmosphere was nice, but if I wanted to see that I'd check out discovery channel or the weather channel...
Ahh well, enough of me ranting on the subject.... I'm done..
