Don't worry, your hubby is just as anxious as you are about coming home. Sometimes it is harder for the service member than it is for the spouse. Hell they even make us take classes on how to deal with the spouse when we get home. I am sorry that you and Reekie wont be around each other. There always seems to be a different feeling in your blogs when talking about the other, than there is any other time. Ok darlin you take care, and keep smiling for as long as you can.

Family is important, when they CHOOSE to be a part of your life and not just assume you a part of theirs.
As well, that great man of yours coming home is your family first and foremost!
Go easy on the folks, and try what I have done.
My mom has not turned out to be the best grandmother for my kids (or mother for me) in my adult life(dad passed 10 years ago). I used to get very angry over it. I realized I only have one mom so I have decided to accept her with her faults and set very low expectations for her. She usually meets them, but I let her know she is in my life on my terms not hers. It has worked for my fruit-loop sisters as well.
It has worked for me for a while now. Hope it helps.
