I've been on a mini music kick lately, so here's an update: Digging the new Coldplay; need further listenings of the new Beck; rocking (in a mellow way) to the new Audioslave.
The Coldplay CD is lush and just beautiful. The new Audioslave is solid, if a bit subdued compared to the last one. The Beck CD hasn't grabbed me yet; I'm not disappointed by it, it's just that it takes some getting used to. I haven't bought a Beck CD since Odelay (and I haven't listened to that one in years), so I think I just need more exposure to it.
Other than that, things are a bit stressful at the moment as I wrap up some stuff and continue my job search. Seems like I'm always forgetting something.
Nothing out of the ordinary, just a little frazzled.
