Feel free to swoon over all the manly shit I did today on this job.

Oh, and the mountain I kicked yesterday in its summit ass.

Both gave me lots of war wounds. Yep. Commence swooning.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a date with The Doctor (him and I are pals now, mates, chums. Yep

"I have an AlienHeep now, AlienHeeps are cool."...

On a side note, I had intended to respond to all of your comments on the last entry, and thank you. And I will still, probably.

AND

People have been seemingly jealous of my "Artistry" and all I can say is that "You're better off, probably, if you plugged into my mind for a mere second, the torment would destroy you."

Note that I use...

nene:
Hi there! smile

I'm a little too tired to analyze the true meaning of 'selfless' but a random act of kindness can truly turn a shitty day around for someone.

Isn't that really what it's all about anyway?

So much Awesome

Sometimes I don't have the time to look up a word on this site because I know that I will forget what I'm doing and just watch grammatical videos. Define the last big word she says in the "Weird Plurals" video.

Cheers.

Yeah, we began to at least suspect that she wasn't real in the movie pretty early on, and that would be okay, except that she sometimes was, and the combination of real daughter and not-real daughter was significantly distracting, we thought. A lot of jumping around in time, which can be good, but usually needs a little bit stronger context clues than they gave (and therefore, I blame the director, not the other writers). It was a fairly small thing, but big enough to be a thorn in my enjoyment of the movie. Unlike, say, Sixth Sense, where they left hefty context clues for you to look back on, and where they didn't really jump around in time, so the division between when Bruce Willis's character was alive and when he wasn't is extremely clear.

I can't comment on your current blog, but here's two awesome deals. This post can be deleted in 5 days as they'll be gone. But if you keep your eye open as much as possible other deals like them will be coming up. This is the time to buy boats, during the winter time. In the summer the prices go up about 4 times what they are now so now's a good time to make the call if you're gonna get one.

This is an awesome thing to get if you're going to live aboard even for a few days a week (highly recommended.) Powerboats are way more spacious. If it needs to be moved you can spot my brother 30 bucks and he'll tow it with his dinghy.

I'm a huge fan of sailboats of course though. You can actually do shit with them. A powerboat costs $100 just to fire up and move around for an hour er so. You wanna go to Catalina you're looking at hundreds of dollars. A sailboat costs $8 and can cost nothing if you want. biggrin

Just watched the film "CREATION."

Must...see...ASAP.

Saw it a few weeks ago, after having it sitting on my queue for forever.

Possible (mild) spoilers:

I would have been a lot happier with it if they'd made much clearer distinctions between fantasy and reality. It makes the movie annoying to watch when you have to sit there and think about context clues to decide whether he's talking to himself or to his real daughter. My wife and I both found that to be a major obstacle to enjoyment. But overall I'd still say I liked it.

How about a little classic Gn'R to set the mood.

Hey, I had to read back through your blogs to catch up with what you have been up to. Glad to hear things are looking up professionally. Sorry to hear that you didn't make it up that jungle mountain. I thought that there would be a good story to go with that one.
Hang in there.
There are drawbacks to any chosen path, but if you keep going, you will get somewhere.
