Hmmm Christmas eve I always make Chili. My dad always did and so I do it too. Other than that, we really just do whatever happens as we don't have many traditions. We haven't had a "proper" New Years Eve together ever. Considering our first New Years Eve knowing each other we were already parents . (we moved really fast here) And, I'm not even sure we've stayed up til Midnight in a long time. We did a couple years ago because we were at my sister's house in Iowa and my parents came down and we had a "party" for the kids but other than that it's usually just hanging out watching a movie or something and then going to bed whenever. (which has been a lot earlier than midnight a lot of times lol) This year we're going to friends house though. They have kids and then our kids etc. so we'll all just hang out and see if the kids can manage to be up at 12 lol)

I love that my neices think I'm so cool..haha it makes my sister crazy as she thinks they will grow up to be all tattooed now too! I haven't told her that I bought one of them a toy that is a "tattoo machine" and has all these stencils with it hahah xmas is funny!

actually, i just got done with a second interview at the same place i went last week. i think it's down to me and another guy. i was being nosy and was reading stuff on the desk.

other than that, i've just been hanging out. i started reading this book called the children of men, it's the one the movie with clive owen that comes out next week is based on. i also started writing a book too, which is gonna be a challenge, but it's been fun so far.

hey, thanks for the good wishes. i did end up having to pay (fucking bullshit!), but it's cool, she'll just have to go all week long. and you know, i was always worried about traci finding one of my old journals, so one day i just laid them all out and let her read them and ask whatever she wanted. that way i would be prepared for it, and she wouldn't feel like i was hiding anything from her.

I know nothing of the national guard. All I know is that at one time I had a notion to become a jarhead (in retrospect I know I wouldn't have cut it). The recruiters we such stereotypical gung-ho crazies that I purposely flunked their little test. Then I got a call several weeks later saying that the new parameters of the test would have given me a passing score. I was instantly scared.
