Off to Indy again, this time for about 5 weeks of hard work and no social life. Hoping to get to the gym twice a day and run early afternoon instead of late after dark plodding. Gold's Gym will have to be my nightclub for a while tho they probably don't have anybody to bring drinks.

Wow, it's nice to hear all these familiar names haha. I will consider it home until I die. That's great your in-laws were okay during the storm. It was terrible, I remember that whole summer thinking, it'll never happen to us, not US. And it did, the worst one. They are so lucky!
Massive layoff at the facility I work at. I'm still standing, but allot of close friends are hurting now, and I hurt for them. Very depressing.

I understand. Should run tonight, but 2 workouts in one day are enough. Had to work all day anyway. Have to drive to Indy Sunday night in a car with only a cassette radio, at least the weathers good. Have to find a good Kentucky alternative station.

This athletic thing is gettin' rather obsessive, 10K run everyday, workout on the home gym twice a day. I think it's an addiction, probably to women, but I'll probably live longer for it anyway. On the other hand, Madam does have a gun, jealousy, and a short fuse. Could result in a shorter life if I don't behave myself, maintaining self control so far tho.

Road trip indeed. I get the itch to travel about every six weeks, so I understand the impulse.
Boring afternoon, washed 2 cars, watered all the plants, looked at the lawnmower, but I just could not. Everything is getting green, the French grapes are stirring a bit and need more TLC before summer. How many more can I plant, the goal is to not have any backyard to mow at all.
