This athletic thing is gettin' rather obsessive, 10K run everyday, workout on the home gym twice a day. I think it's an addiction, probably to women, but I'll probably live longer for it anyway. On the other hand, Madam does have a gun, jealousy, and a short fuse. Could result in a shorter life if I don't behave myself, maintaining self control so far tho.

Got cold again, back to Michelin man running. Figured out a schedule to workout twice at home and run once everyday, workout once before work, once after work, and run at night. Probably take Sundays off, should work if I don't break. The training coach provided by my health insurance company doesn't seem to have too many ideas or useful input. I think it's just...

Finally perfect short sleeve running weather. Slowly gettin' faster. Saw a bobcat while running last night, he was setting on the edge of the track watching me. I could see, by the expression on his face, that he thought I was a complete idiot, running for no good reason. He finally got bored watching me and bounded off into the woods.

Perfect running weather now 55DegF, soon I'll be sayin' it's too damn hot. I do hope so. A good honest sweat is good for the soul. Seem to be getting faster just recently. Sorry about the gloomy outlook yesterday, sometimes the demons sneak out. I cured it today tho, good fast run tonight and Juan Luis Guerra's music on the radio. If you listen to the words, you realize he knows more about us than we do about ourselves. Even if you don't understand it, the music will make you dance meringue.

Do you ever get the feeling that you are just part of a grand illusion, with seemingly endless efforts going out and not a trace of any reflected energy returning.
