Today I got a jury summons.

Now I feel like a true american.

I always get the jury notice, but never once got picked.
Perhaps it had something to do with dad being a lawyer, and my one (spectacular/ridiculous) run-in with the local PD.

You are far too smart to be picked for a jury. Both sides prefer those who are easily swayed with a minimum of effort. It's a shame, really, as smarter folks would make a more effective jury, IMHO.

I didn't think anyone else remembered ZZ Top. That was the first concert I ever went to.
