Does this mean I can't give you my two cents about parser-writing?

Writing parsers by hand is a sure road to madness, hair loss, or both. I know from bitter experience. God created yacc for a reason.


(Oh yeah---when I took the GRE nobody said anything positive when I finished. They just accused me of cheating because I had my crumpled directions to the test center in my pocket during the test. [No paper allowed in the test room!])
