After seeing the matrix for the second time, I'm pretty sure I enjoyed most of it. Yeah, there were parts that were slow or, I thought, irrelevent, but I didn't really care. I want to see Underworld when it comes out, but not T3. I don't believe in T3, don't try to tell me otherwise.

I went out to dinner with my mom and the classics group. I overate for the second time in a week! I may put those pounds I lost last week back on yet. I'm going to sleep all night tonight. Maybe I'll get to watch more West Wing.

I've finished unpacking my clothes, finally. There are too many, but I love them all so much i can't stand to part with enough of them to make a sizable amount of room.

I miss my friends. frown

well I haven't really seen the trailer for T3 so I really don't know much of the story premise.

and I'm not sniveling. I'm sweating like a lunatic. :barf:

But T3 can exist, I think. What if there was a backup, unknown to Mr. Miles Dyson, in a lab somewhere else? What if a harddrive survived the explosion? (By survived, i mean the data could be salvaged, not that the drive unit would ever work again)

See, Hollywood has quite an ability to create sequels where they shouldn't - so the argument that everything was destroyed doesn't really ring true for me. Of course, the movie is full of all sorts of holes - like, if sending back a terminator caused Sarah Conner to train her son to be a great warrior, then why would skynet send back a terminator at all? In a sense, sending the terminator back to kill him causes the problem - just like his existence is due to the protector sent back in the first place. As in, if the war doesn't take place, then John Conner should cease to exist.

But I think the best question is this: They can only send living things back in time...

Nevermind, my true geekiness is showing. I'm such a sucker for post-apocalyptic worlds, and the title "Rise of the Machines" just makes me pitch a tent. So however thin the plot is stretched to allow for a third movie is fine by me.

Except, if the terminator is a machine, and thus mass produced, why do they keep getting older from movie to movie?

And no, most people do not have nice shoes. Shoes are a detail, and most people ignore the details.
