9/16: What are you looking forward to the most this fall?
So since I'm from down under (Australia), Americas fall means that it's our Spring! So we swap your crunchy leaves for blooming flowers!
In Australia, flower festivals are everywhere in Spring, which means yay allergies! Who else has bad memories of Spring because they had to sit in the playground in primary school instead of being allowed on the field due to hay fever?
Here are a few things I'm looking forward to this season!
1. I'm going overseas for the first time in 5 years!
On the 28th September I will be boarding my flight to Heathrow airport in England! I'm flying over with my dad for 2 weeks for my Grandmas 90th birthday (90?!?) so my first couple of weeks will be filled with catching up with family and old friends as I grew up in England before moving to Australia in 2008!
The last week of my trip I will be staying with a close friend of mine in London! Unfortunately I've spent most of my tax return already 🙊 - which means I won't have any spare money to do any shoots while I'm over there, but I do have one set in the queue and one set to submit later this year!
2. We're getting closer to mango season!
Spring always excites me because yes- it means we're getting closer to mango season which is my favourite!
3. Halloween!
Halloween has been a big part of my life since being a little girl! I've always loved dressing up and I feel as if it's the one day where you can let your hair down and dress up as anything you want and not be judged for it! I haven't decided what I'm dressing up as this year but here are some photos of my zombie dress up from last year! Halloween and horror movies influenced me to study special effects makeup which I completed in 2013!
I hope you all have a lovely season wherever you are! Thank you for reading
