Well, I only really had an hour to make a decision, so it ended up being option 4. Pretty much all of my friends agreed that that sounded like the best option, even though I was leaning towards option 3. Only my little brother and sister disagreed, oddly enough. I felt I wasn't prepared to commit at such short notice.
I think in the long run it probably is the best choice as it gives me a chance to find a place I will like and with people I like. I am still concerned, though, that my cats will make it hard to find a place to live.
Even though its over and done with, I'm still stressed about my decision, though. Everything that has happened this week has it made it tough for me to think clearly. I wish I didn't take things so seriously. It truly has been the worst week ever.

Things have gotten better. I still am adjusting to my new job, of course, but there is no good reason why I should worry - this place seems to be great and definitely, definitely better than my last job. I seem to have come down with a cold. I'm coughing and congested and its annoying but its not so bad that I'd stay at home....

but, it has been a good place to live and i got on my feet again after a really tumultous time. so keep you chin up and scour craigslist, you might luck into a good situation before you know it. good luck.

I haven't verified how thorough it is w/ regard to scouring craigslist postings, but it sure is neat!
