My account expires on May 8th. I won't be renewing it.

I'll be updating http://brandon.goldsworthy.name with about as much frequency as I have been updating this thing....which is to say, pretty much only when I upload new pictures to flickr.

Speaking of which, in case you missed it, there's a picture of a capybara in my previous entry.

Fuck The Boston Marathon.

I mean, seriously, would it kill them to put up detour signs that don't fucking point to each other?

Ha ha. Classic Boston street-sign humor. They just do that to make us laugh.

I used to live right by Kenmore sq. With the marathon and Red Sox game, it took me an hour to cross the street.
derceto:
its boston roads, of course the detour signs need to be as fucked up as the roads are wink

It's no longer president's day, yet I have nothing to say. Therefore I shall quote a story from the book I am currently reading Zen and Japanese Culture by D.T. Suzuki:

Goso Hoyen (Wu-tsu Fa-yen, d. 1104), of the Sung dynasty, tells us the following to illustrate the Zen spirit that goes beyond intellect, logic, and verbalism:

"If people ask me what Zen is like,...

President's Day Weekend thought experiment for you:

Imagine you go back in time to April 1776. General Washington has just arrived in New York after an arduous 11 day march from Boston to New York. He and the Continental Army have just marched approximately 20 miles per day after a gruelling winter spent outside Boston. He is currently attempting to fortify New York, expecting (correctly)...

I work there too also yes.. Well not where you do obviously, but downtown. I find this all to be very very crazy.
lexie:
I figured as much. Summer St is a big.. street. I work right off it on High st. I am always rather amused when I run into people I find from here. I suppose thats why I was overly enthusiastic about it all.
