As we were exiting the theater after seeing this film, we were given free passes to another movie. “What th’?” but then we remembered—the filmstrip had broken during the movie. ID4 was so well executed, got the audience so jazzed up, we’d completely forgotten such a major thing.

@ABASHIMA Well, that's how it should be! Nobody walks on a direct route. I remember how I went through all the story quests in Skyrim, but the guards in the city still treated me disrespectfully. Then I was too lazy to go through all the third-party quests. 😅

Do you enjoy genuinely scary, unpredictable, masterfully edited horror that creates something truly effective? Then may I recommend Barbarian (2022), which leap frogged my using curse words in surprised exclamation and literally had my agape in stunned silence.

Do you enjoy sawdust-dumb action movies with dialogue written, presumably, by a teenager? Then may I recommend The Courier, which somehow managed to convince action great Kurlenko—who actually does a good job—and acting great Oldman—who doesn’t—into wasting their time.

Electric quirk

A quirk of driving an electric car: I only ever look at the percentage battery left, not the predicted mileage. This is because when I decide to recharge is based on the battery, not the miles.

I charge at 25%, plus or minus. How many miles is that? Dunno. I just know: recharge.

@ABASHIMA That sounds really cool!  How I don't like the smell of gasoline on the street, especially if there is a traffic jam. I hope that electric cars will replace cars with gasoline. Although I understand the usefulness of a gasoline engine in remote areas, it would be great to have electric cars driving around the city. Sounds like science fiction.
