So I just watched the ’56 and ’78 versions of Body Snatchers back 2 back (b/c adult!) and I’m hard pressed to say which is better. 56 has great noir cinematography, is much tighter, and has a better beginning. 78 has more outright horror and a better ending.
Verdict: hung jury!
