Well next week is the long awaited consult with the surgeon for my Myasthenia Gravis. It only took almost 5 months of doctors and tests to get it but now it's finally here.
This will be the first time I've had surgery of any kind so I'm kind of nervous. Especially since one of the ways the doctor could do this is to crack my chest plate. I don't know about anyone else but I can do without having my rib cage cracked open. Seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through to remove one little gland but if it helps me get all this under control I'm for it. And if it can help me get rid of the little pharmacy I have here at home I'll jump for joy. At least I'm going to the hospital at Yale University. Gotta feel good about having ivy league doctors handling everything.
Other than that life is good. This weekend is my 4 month anniversary with my girlfriend, just got a dollar raise at work, and at least for the moment my bills are all caught up. What do I have to complain about?
