I am also a turn-off-alarm-in-sleep kinda person. One morning I woke up 2 minutes before it was due to go off and realised I had turned it off in my sleep sometime during the night in anticipation of the beeping.
I want an alarm clock that turns on the light magically for me too. That would help with the waking up immensely.
