These pictures convinced me I need to invest in a tripod. I LOVE how they turned out, but they're just a bit too blurry.

Fortunately, I can duplicate them some other night. The only one I can't "save" is the one of the library's clock tower. I have to wait until the moon/clouds are like that again, and who knows when that will be and if I'll be on campus at the time. I do love that picture, so I'm hoping I can tweak it just a bit.
These were all taken on the old campus, with the exception of the clock tower and fountain (those are on the "new" campus). The old campus hasn't been used since the 1940s or thereabouts. A couple of the halls are dedicated to the historical archives and Medieval Studies department, but it's mostly storage. I wish they'd open it again. It's gorgeous compared to the modern, dry, boring campus designed during the fifties and sixties.
If you sit under the archway I photographed, you can see Kalamazoo's skyline and my neighborhood. In the winter, it resembles a Norman Rockwell painting because you can see the Christmas lights and snow-covered streets through the bare trees. It's gorgeous in the fall. I have some pictures in my Photography folder if you want to see those. They were taken in October.
Anyway, here are the new ones. I can't wait to redo them once I get a tripod.
