Wren and I had similar thoughts about this picture. We both think it looks like it was taken at a publicity event or movie premiere because the other flash is so bright and we had no idea Evan was taking it.

Speaking of Evan, we're dating now. There were some snags on my end in the beginning, which is typical, but we've done some talking since Friday's marathon cuddling session. The key is that we're taking it slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowly since we've both rushed things with other people. I think two dates in two weeks is a good pace.
I'm hoping to see him Friday and/or Saturday.
My heart starts beating around 2:00 every day, which is when he gets home from work. I think that was the first sign I'm more into him than I thought.

I've decided to do the nursing program at KVCC. It's 1/4 the cost of WMU, is a year-long program, and means a stable job in the city of my choosing. It also pays about the same, if not more, than an editorial position. I also LIKE helping people, and my family is full of nurses, so this isn't a new environment for me.
I helped my mom study for her nursing exams during the late eighties, and I loved studying with her. Medicine fascinates me. I always annoy the hospital staff when I'm there because I want to know what everything is and what it does.
Anyway, I've been into the idea of nursing since high school. I just never had the balls to attempt the program. Now that I'm older, wiser, and more disciplined, I'm going to give it a try. 8:00 AM Chemistry class, here I come.

I'm finally getting my car fixed tomorrow. NoPantsDave has been a gem in that department. He ran me to the bank yesterday and will be taking me to/from the shop. Stupid car repairs.

My cousin, who I held as a baby eighteen years ago, is graduating from high school pretty soon. Now I know what my parents meant by time flying. I remember teaching him how to read.
