EvanX took this beautiful picture with his Lomo (a type of camera) during Prom.
One of the Lomo styles is called "shoot from the hip". You basically point the camera at random, and it doesn't use a flash. This results in some wicked, surreal, interesting, artistic shots. He has many more on his page. Go over there and follow his link.
This particular shot was taken while Cathedra, photogrrl, and I were posing for another picture. Evan's camera "borrowed" the other camera's flash, resulting in this awesome picture of us.
I can't quite put my finger on why I love it so much. I think it's because the lighting makes it look like some weird flashback or dream, and when you combine that with the angle, it makes it even more surreal. It's like he caught us in a truly candid moment.
Edit: Oh my god!!! I just realized it looks like photogrrl has some weird succubus (coming in for a bite) over her right shoulder.

The 'cute little boy' (to quote Pip) will turn 3 while we are back in MA. He would NOT be too much fun at a ball game. He'll be with his dad the day we decide to go.
