What a day.
I woke up from a dream in which the Detroit airport was out of power, so I was dressed as a special ops soldier and sliding down escalators.
Then I went and sold my textbooks back. I paid $43 for the books and got $30 back. Good deal!
When I got home around 4:00, I worked for five minutes, and then the power died. It came back on a few minutes later. Apparently, the same thing happened to my boy, who lives three hours away. He sent me a link to the news stories about airports and subways shutting down. Eek!
So now I can't work because my company is based in the Detroit area. I can't even get onto their website, and I can't call my boss since their switchboard is automated. I guess they're still out of power over there. That sucks.
