Over the last few days, conversation at the lunch table has been centered around people fitting the outward look of their job. It has been brought to my attention that I might not fit what is thought to be an average zookeeper. I'm not sure how, or why it even sort of bothers me, but it does.

What I'm wondering is what is a zookeeper supposed to look like? I go to the Oakland Zoo about once every few years and there is no "average" looking zookeeper. No idea what they mean by that.
