The sun is out and I can breathe out of one nostril... I'm going hiking with the dogs and eat up the outside after being stuck in bed all week...

Oh, and I hate water exercise and anyone who thinks Susan is the best thing since polyester swim wear.

You're in California.
See if you can find some eucalyptus leaves and put them in a pot of boiling water, then breathe over it.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. I hope you are back to full health soon. Take care. smile

I'm feeling a little closer to being human, although I still didn't go to work. Well actually, no... I went to work, and they sent me home. Feeling and looking better are two different things I suppose. So, instead, I went and had my nails done and my hair trimmed... then I took a bubble bath, and now I'm just sort of hanging out in...

When you're feeling sick I can agree with lazy but never fat. Enjoy the day as best you can, it can only get better.

To make things worse... one of my chinchilla's is sick as well, too bad one of the healthy ones passed away, in a separated cage? July really needs to end, and I'm hoping to wake up in a leaf covered October greeted by cool breezes and warm pumpkin anything.

Who gets sick in July?!?! This is horrible, but at least, I got to spend the day in bed. I was stuck at the courthouse until three yesterday, only to have to report back on Monday. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'm not picked as a murder trail juror. In the mean time, I'd like for my voice to return, and all the orange...

Going back to the last post... jobs were brought up like librarian's and how there are certain people that look the part... or mechanics. Some people look like business men/women and so on and so forth. In accordance to the group that I was in discussion with, 'average women' zookeepers either look somewhat dykish or homely, or somewhat of a combination of the two. How...

Man, I hope I don't get sick.

Maybe it's based on the fact that most of us can't think past our personal experiences and group our understandings of the world in small shallow boxes so we can feel like we know what's going on. I guess a form of control. It doesn't take much to break that up. Porn is good for that. The smoking hot librarian keeping her glasses on while giving head, is all it will take for most men to get hard around women with glasses and wondering if the woman behind the counter at the Barnes and Nobles is thinking about his cock.
Perspectives are ment to be broken. That's the only way we learn. oh and have fun!
I hope you're feeling better.

Over the last few days, conversation at the lunch table has been centered around people fitting the outward look of their job. It has been brought to my attention that I might not fit what is thought to be an average zookeeper. I'm not sure how, or why it even sort of bothers me, but it does.

Blah.

What is an average zookeeper?
aepaul:
What I'm wondering is what is a zookeeper supposed to look like? I go to the Oakland Zoo about once every few years and there is no "average" looking zookeeper. No idea what they mean by that.

Sort of a delayed post... but according to my last doctors appointment, and lovely BMI readings, I'm overweight. As I sit here with my wonderful cherry slurpee, I'm not so sure how I'm going to attack this problem. I'll start another diet tomorrow I suppose. Mondays are normally a good day to start things.

Side note, Batman band aids make ouchies feel better. They make...

Bah. BMI is stupid. I'm 5'3" and 145 pounds. If you saw me, you'd call me skinny. But the stupid BMI thing says I'm overweight. Whatever. I don't believe that hocus pocus.

Congrats about the best ever hug. I love good hugs.
