Better now, thanks to some lovely dreams last night - nothing sexual, just comforting.
That, and I think my anti-depressant withdrawal and PMS combination is over. Thank fucking God.

I went to Oakland University in Rochester for a bit. Then I moved down here for school. Now I will never finish.

You know, crying may not fix things, but my body refuses to believe that and does it anyway.

People are annoying me and pissing me off left and right today.
It's like everyone took a Stupid Pill.
I'm going to the gym so I don't destroy anyone or anything. I may as well turn this adrenalin into something productive.
I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the crowd at the university's rec center. Nobody ever gives me a funny look or snickers...

On the days the unwashed masses get their soma-like stupid pills I usually just get sad. The anger has long since been completely used up.

Yeah, most ppl in a small city prefer the big city because it has a lot more to offer. I agree, the city does have a lot to offer, but as far as the peeps are concerned, it has shit to offer. My ideal location would be in a small town (like kalimazoo) thats CLOSE to a big city. That way, I can have my cake and eat it too.

Well I guess I'm screwed.

I had a dream last night in which I took my old library job back. I was working with the same people, along with a newcomer. I remember shelving books and clearing tables as if no time had passed.
Truthfully, that's how it would be. I still remember where everything goes, where every letter...

I wish I could remember my dreams. Dreams are cool. I rarely ever remember dreams I've had, if I do, it's only for a short time.

Stopping my anti-depressant the week before PMS hit probably wasn't the best idea in the world. The re-calibration of seratonin combined with the upswings and downswings in hormones made for a fury this past weekend. My PMS usually makes me borderline suicidal ... I just want to hide in my room away from the world, but not this time. I wanted to take the...

My chickie and I were in an anatomy museum and there was a torso of a woman opened up with all the parts spread out and plasticised so it looked like an explosion. Sitting undisturbed in the pelvis was the uterus, an organ neither she nor I had ever seen before, and which she found far too small for all the trouble it caused. I think she expected something like a skull, complete with a leering grin.
It looks like I'll be graduating on time, and I don't even have to cram in any extra credits. This makes me Very Happy indeed.
My roommate graduates a couple of months later - a month before our lease is up - so we're set there too.
I love when things work out.
For those wondering, I'm studying Literature and History. After graduation, I'm moving...

There are chapter books aimed at adults. They're published by Penguin and they target mature ESL students. Generally, they're either abridgements of popular novels (Grisham and the like) or celebrity bios. Not heavy fare, but the kind of thing to draw in a developing reader with a passion for narrative.
I'll pull up a few ISBNs at work tomorrow.
