My Thoughts on Batman Begins.

Fuck Tim Burton. This is the best superhero movie ever. At times it's horror, at times it's comedy, at times it's ballsy action, at times it sinks into a deep dark drama. And it melds perfectly.

One of the best moments this year.

Wasn't there once a theory that lives moved in cycles? That you would move from a happy point in your life to a somber one, to happy, to angry, and so on. It's a fatalistic and almost cynical way of looking at it, but when I first heard it, it made sense. It could be looked at as how you don't have to wait too...

Can a good thing occur without it becoming improbably difficult? I've got a friend returning for a summer from her own home country on the 28th, so I need that day off, which is looking less and less likely. Grind House. A film from Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez. And it's definitely the film I'm most excited about right now. Being shot in Texas soon on all digital equipment. Two seperate stories, each an hour long (so two-three reels each). In California, Quentin's hour will be first. In Texas, Robert's. Everywhere else, you kinda get to choose if you're putting the film together....

Warning about Cinderella Man: Paul Giamatti is the only real reason to sit through the first 30 minutes of this film, which is as far as I got before the ridiculously obvious plotline and ending became too much for me to handle: have you ever wanted to see Russell Crowe go back to Proof of Life movies? He's a great actor, but this is an...

1. Cinderella Man can suck an old man's balls.

2. Ahh, the art of the mix CD. I understand the work that goes into making one juuuussst right.

3. Sleater-kinney makes me say "yay".

4. Ya know that facial structure you like (i.e. yor favorites, Ali, etc.)? I think Elisha Cuthbert also has that facial style (most similar to Lenka).
