Okay, so that last blog was an experiment to see if I could write a bit of flash fiction (for those who don't know, it's just a story under 1000 words). Anyone concerned by it, sorry about that.

I went to the bathroom before going to sleep this morning and got creeped out by random house noses in the dark. It reminded me of the...

I'm trying to stay calm while I write this. But truth be told, I can't stop shaking. Why after all these years? I never should have come back. I never would have, but circumstances fucked me, and here I am again.

Context. Right. Might as well explain while I still can. I don't remember exactly how old I was, maybe 7 or 8. I used...

You gotta get that thing to get the fuck out once and for all.  Were you close to any recently deceased family members?  If so, give them an offering, and ask them to take care of it.  You could get another spirit to take care of it... Santa Muerte, Hekate; just make sure to give them an offering as well.  If there's a Catholic church nearby you could get some Holy Water and sprinkle it around.  Something iron might scare it off depending on the kind of spirit.  You can order some Florida Water off amazon and sprinkle it around as well.  Salt can work.  Oh yeah!  Dragon's Blood incense will clear everything from your house.  If all that fails look for a church, Buddhist temple, etc that does house blessings and get them to come out, and just do a general blessing.   For general protection Jason Miller has a pretty good book.  You could also give this a try :  http://www.llewellyn.com/journal/article/2243  I'm trying to throw out any idea I have, lol  Whatever you do try, you have to mean it... feel the energy gather in your body and push it out directed at the spirit, and tell it to get out.  Be mean as hell, and don't let it scare you; it can't hurt you physically.

In an effort to pull my head out of my ass (firmly lodged though it may be), I've been thinking about posting some writing related blogs. Talking about the novel I'm putting off editing, and other projects I've been mulling over in my head.

The hope being that maybe it'll help motivate me to start working on them again (hard to do without a working...

So, I finally got home after a week in Dallas. Of course, my cat is acting like he doesn't care. Unless you count following me around and sitting a slight distance away from me that is...

Acting nonchalant...

Keeping me in sight...

I think he's starting to give up the pretense.

So, my nightmare week is almost over. We're finished helping my brother and his family move into his new place in Dallas.

My dad drove out Friday with my brother's other two kids who had stayed behind. Along with their dogs. That's right, as bad as it's been having two of his kids here for a week with no internet, it could have been a...

Okay. Fuck. I think this air mattress just destroyed my lower back. It kind of hurts to move right now.

This trip sucks. I love my nieces and nephews, I really do, but fuck kids. This has confirmed what I've always believed, that parenthood is not for me. I completely understand why parents and teachers drink. If I drank I'd be looking forward to getting...

Yo, I'm over here thinking of you in solidarity. I'm having a "fuck kids" moment so hard right now. I hope your back has improved.
wolfwood1203:
@gadget Sorry I didn't notice your first comment. No wifi, so I'm on more sporadically than usual. Yeah, I can understand why some people want kids, especially when I see how much my brother loves his kids, and how much they love him. And sorry to hear you're having a bad moment with the kids in your life, I completely understand. As for the back pain, it's not better, but mercifully it's not worse either. Part of the problem, aside from having hurt it in the past, is that I recently put on some weight. When that happened, my back pain came back. I need to get my fat ass walking again. I used to walk to work when I was in Virginia this last year. I think it helped.

I'm bored and lonely. All I want is someone to talk to, and all I get is silence. At least at home I can talk to the cat, he'll at least meow in response from time to time. Too bad cats can't text. Then again, the constant 'feed me' texts would get old fast. I guess I should try to sleep, better than nothing...

So, after a good 8-10 hour drive, we made it to Dallas. And doesn't it figure, I'm starting to feel like death. Fever, exhaustion, body aches, etc. I was hoping I was only tired. Oh well.

And to make things worse, I already miss my cat. I've actually never been away from him for longer than a couple days.

This is going to be a...

@felicity yeah, it's definitely hard leaving them behind. @libris @medusaw Thanks, I'm feeling a lot better today, but I'm not out of the woods just yet.

Crap. So, my brother is moving to Dallas soon. And given my current state of unemployment, I've been volunteered to go with him to watch the kids. It's only for about a week, but it still kind of sucks. Especially since he's not going to have internet for the first week.

Still, it'll be good to help him out. Anyone in the Dallas area know...

The cute little bastard climbed up onto my lap earlier, I had to grab a couple pics.

Not my decorations, and my god, you can tell how little I've slept these past few days. At least my little old man seems happy.

Okay, so this last year my parents have split up and my mom filed for divorce. In all honesty, it seems like she's become a little mentally unbalanced. But, that's not the point, it's just a little back story.

Lately, my dad has started using online dating. Tonight he had a date, his third since he started, and usually he comes home disappointed. But this...

It's so strange to have your parents divorce an an adult.  My mom's divorce is nearly final from my stepdad, and it's been heinous.  I'm glad your dad is doing well!  I'm sorry to hear about your mom though... I know I don't have to worry about my mom dating.  This was her second marriage, and my stepdad turned out to be a sex addict who denies any wrongdoing besides other unsavory tendencies.  She has zero interest in cultivating a relationship with anyone besides me.  How is your mom doing?
wolfwood1203:
Unfortunately, I don't really know. She's pushed the whole family away. So, she doesn't talk to us anymore. I think she's doing okay, but it's hard to say at this point. She's staying with her father now. Yeah, it's definitely weird dealing with this as an adult. But at least it's not as devastating as it could have been when we were kids, though my sister is still taking it that hard. Sounds like your mom had it rough. It's good she has you there for her.

Gonna be 7 in the damn morning, and I still haven't slept. So, with nothing particular in mind, I decide to see what kind of nonsense fell out of my weird brain. But I gotta tell you, nothing is coming to mind.

Who reads this junk anyway? I mean, seriously, who are you? I'd actually be interested to know.

Me, I'm a severely depressed, suicidal,...
